Brush Week (May 6 - 10, 2013)
Brush tied in bundles with cotton string less than 4-feet long and weighing less than 50-pounds will be picked up on the boulevard during this week. Brush must be placed near the curb by 7:00AM to ensure pick up. Brush collection is only for this week and does not include trees or shrubbery that have been removed. The rest of the season, brush must be taken to the drop-off site.
What is brush?
Brush is defined as branches and tree limbs from 1/4-inch to 8-inches in diameter and less than 8-feet in length.
What about larger items?
Branches and tree limbs larger than described must be taken to the La Crosse County Landfill for a fee. The landfill is open from 7:00AM to 4:00PM weekdays.
Where can I dispose of brush during winter?
During the winter months, when the brush site is closed, brush can be taken to the La Crosse County Landfill for a fee. The landfill is open from 7:00AM to 4:00PM weekdays.
Information for Contractors
The Isle La Plume drop-off site is for residents only! Yard waste contractors must show proof of where their material came from and are allowed to use the site only between 4:00PM and 7:00PM weekdays.
