3/29/2016 - K-9 Ralph Awarded 1st Place

The La Crosse Police Department is pleased to share that our three narcotics detection K-9 teams each placed in the Top 10 at the annual United States Police Canine Association (USPCA) Narcotics Detection Certification Trials!

Officer Tony LeQue and K-9 Ralph took home 1st Place overall with a perfect score of 200!  K-9 Ralph had the fastest time in completing the course, securing their spot at the top.  Congratulations Tony and Ralph!

Officer Casey Rossman with K-9 Brutus and Officer Trenton Bowe with K-9 Zaback each scored 199.5 out of 200, placing them in the Top 10.  Congratulations Casey, Brutus, Trent, and Zaback!

The annual USPCA Narcotics Detection Certification Trials, held this year in Stillwater, MN, test for skills such as speed, accuracy, and obedience.  Each of our three teams competed against 59 total teams from the Midwest area.
