The City of La Crosse is seeking to hire 2 full-time Code Enforcement Technicians to perform a variety of code enforcement support functions related to nuisance housing, health and safety, blight, graffiti, garbage and refuse. The work is performed under the supervision of the Chief Inspector. Successful candidate shall have H.S. diploma or equivalent with 2 years experience in the construction trade or; an Associate’s degree in a construction trade or related field. Effective public relations and communication skills required. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Valid driver’s license required. Starting wage is $16.45 - $17.84 per hour, depending on qualifications (75 hours bi-weekly).
Selected candidate is subject to a background check and post-offer/pre-employment drug screen.
