The City is seeking a firm to provide comprehensive energy services for four years, with optional renewals. Services include design, construction, administration, and potential management of renewable energy, energy efficiency, and metering systems. While the primary intention of the project is to integrate different technologies to reduce costs and pollution, the City seeks to ensure the effective long-term operation, maintenance, and management of the systems.
Services may include infrastructure and operations for the following facilities: city hall, municipal service center, La Crosse Center, water treatment plant, wastewater treatment plant, public library branches, park shelters and neighborhood centers, fire stations, police station, parking ramps, transit center, street lights, and airport.
Performance will be measured by energy and operational cost savings, as well as against the City’s 2009 Strategic Plan for Sustainability’s stated energy goals.
