On January 14, 2016, the La Crosse Police Department Investigative Bureau apprehended three male juveniles for the burglary at the Northside Shopko (2400 Rose Street) that took place at approximately 12:30AM on Sunday morning January 10, 2016. Three juveniles had smashed an exterior window and then gained entry to the store and stole various items. With the help of surveillance video and information gathered by a LCPD School Resource Officer, Investigator Andy Rosenow was able to gather information that lead to the apprehension.
During the Investigation and apprehension of the juveniles, two CO2 (air soft) guns, BBs, cartridges and a backpack were recovered from the burglary. The picture attached is that of one of the CO2 air soft guns, which looks very similar to a .44 revolver. The incident is still under investigation.
