Due to the recent events facing the City of La Crosse, it is imperative that the Parks, Recreation, Building and Grounds Department looks to address immediate and future concerns regarding COVID-19. It is essential that we continue moving forward with recreational opportunities for the community, but not jeopardizing the safety and well-being of participants. The department will rely on state and federal recommendations/mandates utilizing the Center for Disease Control (CDC) timelines. It is our intent to continue monitoring the situation in regards to site preparation and dates that are defined below. As of today, the CDC recommends no gathering exceeding 50 people are to take place for the next 8 weeks (May 10, 2020). We appreciate understanding from the community as we navigate these difficult times.
