On October 1st, 2025, at approximately 9:16pm, La Crosse Police responded to the 1500 block of 10th Street South for a shooting incident. Upon arrival, one victim had been shot and was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect turned themselves in shortly after the initial call. This is an isolated incident and there is no threat to the public.
