La Crosse, WI

La Crosse Police responded to a shooting incident in the 1500 block of 10^th Street South on October 1^st, at approximately 9:16pm. The victim is recovering with non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect has been identified as Benjamin R. Schneider (03/12/06). He was arrested and charged with Attempted 1^st Degree Intentional Homicide. He is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. This remains an active investigation.
