The victim has been identified as Nicholas H. Smythe (12/24/1987). On October 2nd, 2025, officers responded to a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Mormon Coulee Road and 33rd Street. Upon officers’ arrival, Nicholas, the operator of the motorcycle, sustained injuries and life saving measures were performed. He was taken to a local hospital where he died as a result of his injuries.
The La Crosse Police Department members send our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Nicholas.
