On Thursday November 13^th, 2025, at approximately 3:30am, La Crosse Fire and Police responded to a residential fire in the 1700 block of Taylor Street. While conducting search operations, firefighters located one individual inside the residence, deceased. She has been identified as Alexis K. Pickett (02/05/1998).

The cause of the fire remains under investigation. The La Crosse Fire Department and the La Crosse Police Department are actively investigating this incident.

The La Crosse Police and Fire Department members send our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Alexis.
