On November 23, 2025, at approximately 8: 32pm, La Crosse Police were called to a single vehicle crash with injuries at 1000 Pine Street.  The initial investigation is an individual was on the hood of a moving vehicle.  The driver braked and the individual fell from the vehicle. They were then transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.  

Hayden C. Holinbeck (04/30/2004), the driver, has been charged with Causing Injury while Operating Under the Influence 1^st Offense and Injury by Intoxicated Use of a Motor Vehicle.  This is an ongoing investigation, and all suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. 

The Wisconsin State Patrol is assisting in this investigation.
