La Crosse Parks & Recreation, Rush Wisconsin West Announce New Partnership

The City of La Crosse Parks and Recreation Department and the Rush Wisconsin West Soccer Club have announced a new partnership. The partnership becomes effective this spring. The new La Crosse Parks & Recreation Rush Soccer partnership allows the two parties to share resources while providing a quality soccer program with a unique pathway that is available to all.

"I’m excited that Rush Soccer will be able to reach more players and families in our area," said Rush Technical Director Nicole Lukic. "This is a great opportunity to bring more people together in our community.”

The partnership means that while the fees and locations of practices at local schools and parks will remain the same, soccer games will be held on Saturdays at Field for Kids and players will wear Capelli Sport uniform tops. It also means Rush Soccer will share its curriculum with Parks & Recreation coaches to integrate into their programming.

"Rush Wisconsin West has a strong reputation for developing soccer players. We’re thrilled to be part of the Rush family and look forward to growing this partnership," said City of La Crosse Recreation Coordinator Mckenzie Wilson.
