On May 22, 2022, at 1:24am, La Crosse Police were dispatched to the area of 1900 South 7^th Street for a Shots-Fired Call.  Upon arrival, officers located one person who had been shot multiple times and succumb to their injuries a short time later. The Victim has been identified as Storm D. Vondrashek (08/02/2006.) The La Crosse Police Department members send our condolences to the family of Storm. The second victim, who was shot, is recovering at a local hospital.

This continues to be an active investigation. At this time, this does not appear to be a random act of violence. La Crosse Police will update the community as the investigation continues.
