Poage Park Ice Skating Rink Now Open

The City of La Crosse Parks, Recreation & Forestry Department is happy to announce the ice skating rink at Poage Park is now open. Weather permitting, the hours for this season will be:
• Monday – Friday: 4:00pm – 8:00pm 
• Saturday and Sunday or Non-School Days: 12:00pm – 8:00pm

Hot chocolate and popcorn will be sold during hours of operation and skate rentals will be free of charge and open to the public. Grab a friend, strap on your skates, and come on over to Poage Park to take a spin on the ice and enjoy the skating rink season while it lasts!

Additionally, the City maintains two other outdoor ice skating rinks that are also open to the public. The Copeland Park Oktoberfest Shelter rink is available Mondays – Sundays from 4:00pm – 10:00pm, but will be closed Thursday nights for Broomball League. The Riverside Park rink is open for those with their own skates. For more information regarding Riverside Park hours of operation, please visit www.rotarylights.org/ice-skating.
