La Crosse’s Arts Board to Host Listening Session on 5-year Strategic Plan
(LA CROSSE, Wis. - January 16, 2020) La Crosse’s Arts Board is inviting artists and patrons of the arts to come together to discuss the direction for the Arts Board over the next five years. This session is a significant opportunity to influence the future in La Crosse arts as the city diversifies and grows in scale. It is also a good chance to connect with other artists on creative solutions to community issues. The discussion will revolve around actions that enhance the Arts District, improve art solicitation and proposals, advocate for the arts in policies and plans, and to analyze gaps and opportunities for public art. It will also cover the Board’s current projects including art for the La Crosse Center expansion and in the River Point District.
