If you need to complete or renew an alarm permit, the La Crosse Police Department offers several convenient options:

1. In Person - Visit the La Crosse Police Department, Monday through Thursday between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Our Records staff will assist you with the alarm permit process.

2. By Phone - Call us at 608-789-8079 during business hours. A staff member will guide you through the steps or provide the necessary information.

3. By Email - Email tofstadm@cityoflacrosse.org with your request. Be sure to include the proper form (see below for fillable PDFs) with your name, the address of the alarmed location, and a contact number. We will respond with further instructions.
