Pilaster trimmed projecting window bay and gable peak with bracket supports in front gable, bracketed gable ends and front 2nd story overhang; bargeboards. Roof dormer; window cornices on lower story; one bay open entrance portico with bracket trim, pedimented gable roof and turned post with capitals; leaded glass side lighted door with transom window.
The Holley House is an interesting eclectic design created when a vernacular gabled ell house was remodeled under the Queen Anne influence. The Holley family has been associated with the State Bank of La Crosse for several generations. Coach house/barn at rear of property has been demolished.
