Notice of Designation of Historic Structure
Short second story compressed between broad roof overhang and extended lower story of brick; two-story rectangular bay window on south side; enclosed west side porch; arched one-bay entrance with flared facade.
1996- "This two story, brick, Prairie Style dwelling has a low-pitch hip roof with a stuccoed, shed roof dormer rising to the north. A one story wing fronts the west facade, and a two story porch with brick piers and stucco panels extends from the east wall. A projecting, round arch entry with stucco trim and an overhanging eave fronts the slightly flared Division Street facade. The second level carries tall, casement windows along its stuccoed surface. This nearly vernacular interpretation of the Prairie Style suggests that it may have been derived from the widely circulated pattern books and magazines of the first quarter of the twentieth century."
