All corporations/organizations or limited liability companies applying or holding a license to sell fermented malt beverages and/or intoxicating liquor must appoint an agent. A person serving as agent must be at least 21 years of age, reside within the State of Wisconsin (for at least 90 days) and reside within 25 miles of the City of La Crosse (for at least 30 days).
The City Clerk's Office must be notified of any change to a license within fifteen (15) days.

License Fee
The non-refundable license fee of $20.00 (cash, check payable to City Treasurer or credit with convenience fee) is due at the time of application - $10 for change of agent processing and $10 for printing of a duplicate license listing new agent.
How to Apply
Application is filed with the City Clerk's Office and is reviewed by the Judiciary and Administration Committee, which makes its recommendation to the Council and subject to review by the Police Department. Applications received by 4:00 p.m. on the Monday following the second Thursday of the month will be considered by the Council the following month.
