Forest Bathing

How do you spend your recreation time in natural outdoor places?  Have you heard about or done forest bathing with or without a guide?  Would you like to be deeply connected with nature and stay healthy?  Forest bathing will promote healing conditions and be guided in natural environments where you can slow down your life, engage in a mindful walk, disconnect from disturbing events and cell phone interruptions, engage in a deep nature connection with all your senses, and experience what natural places offer to you.  Fee will benefit trail maintenance.  Namyun Kil teaches Therapeutic Recreation classes, including Nature and Forest Therapy, in the Department of Recreation Management and Therapeutic Recreation at UWL.  Namyun has intensely studied visitor experiences in natural trails for over fifteen years.  Namyun is a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist, a Certified Nature and Forest Guide, and is an International Nature and Forest Therapy Alliance advisory board member.
