Senior Excursions are popular day trips for anyone ages 50+. Pre-registration is required, space is limited and payment is required at the time of registration. See Department and Refund Policies here and Senior Excursion Policies here.

Pick up and drop off locations for each excursion are designated with the following:

Minnesota Art Museum Tours

Visit two of Minnesota’s top art museums. The Walker Art Center is a multidisciplinary contemporary art center in the Lowry Hill neighborhood of Minneapolis (weather permitting, visit the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden, across from the Walker Art Center, home to 60 sculptures). Minneapolis Institute of Art, home to more than 100,000 works of art representing 5,000 years of world history. 
Meal: Lunch will be on your own. Restaurant is TBD.

Little Brown Church & World’s Smallest Church

Visit the Little Brown Church located in Nashua, Iowa to learn its history and connection to the poem and song, Little Brown Church in the Vale. After lunch, tour the world’s smallest church in Fort Atkinson, Iowa to learn about its unique history.  Then, travel to Decorah, Iowa for time on your own to shop or visit the Vesterheim Museum followed by a stop at Toppling Goliath Brewery. Vesterheim Museum and Topping Goliath Brewery costs are on your own. 
Meal: Lunch on your own at Klunder’s Kafe in New Hampton, Iowa.

Bello’s Circus Extreme Dinner Show is a spectacle of extreme stunts and comedy routines. Featuring not only Bello himself, but also a variety of other impressive acts! The show culminates in an epic finale featuring the Motorcycle Globe of Death, where stunt motorcycle riders perform at the speed of light.

Starting in Winona to visit Remlinger Car Museum to see the finest private collection of vintage drag race cars in the Midwest, classic muscle cars, and more! Then to Two Fathloms Brewery for a tour and tasting. Finally, over to Suncrest Gardens Pizza Farm with its delicious woodfired farm to table pizza! You will have an opportunity to stroll around the farm to visit the farm animals, pick a bouquet of flowers, and shop for goods at the farm store.
