The La Crosse Parks, Recreation & Forestry Department sponsors Youth Baseball Leagues for all ages and ability levels with the emphasize on having fun, learning the basic fundamentals and participation.  Participants must provide their own baseball glove.

Traveling League 

The La Crosse Parks & Recreation will follow the La Crosse County Health Department's Coulee COVID-19 Compass for the La Crosse Region (located here) and if at any point we are in the Severe Risk Category (or RED), all programs will be suspended until it progresses to the High Risk Category (or ORANGE). We thank you for your patience and understanding as we try to navigate through this while our first priority remains the safety of our participants and staff.

Return to Play Guidelines
The guidelines listed in this document have been reviewed and approved by the La Crosse County Health Department. The La Crosse Parks and Recreation will continue to follow the guidelines and directions of the County in order to determine safe play during the season.

Tournament Information

  • Due to recent events surrounding COVID-19, all tournaments that were scheduled for the 2020 season have now been cancelled. 


Instructional League (Ages 7-8)

June 29 - August 20 | Weigent Park | Max Per Session: 12

This is a seven week introduction to game play with an emphasis on individual skill development. A friendly pitcher is used and games are modified to skill level. Teams and game schedules will be determined after the first week of practices.

NOTE: The La Crosse Parks and Recreation will follow the La Crosse County Health Department's Coulee COVID-19 Compass found here throughout the season to determine safe play and active guidelines.


Co-Ed Small Fry T-Ball (Ages 5-6)

This is a seven week program to work on fundamental baseball instruction where participants will develop throwing, batting, and catching skills. Teams and game schedules will be determined after the first week of practices.
