The La Crosse Parks, Recreation & Forestry Department offers summer Youth Tennis and Pickleball at area parks around the City of La Crosse.  This program introduces the fundamentals of tennis with an emphasis on learning a variety of skills and positions, as well as an intro to pickleball.

Beginner program focuses on fundamental racquet grip, body position, match rules, and volleying.

Strengthen stroke and volleying techniques. Learn ground strokes, forehand, backhand, and service scoring techniques.

Junior Tennis League (#323308)

This fun league focuses on teamwork and low-key competition. Participants will team up for matches Friday mornings from 9:00am-12:00pm at Green Island. *No Matches 7/4

Individual Tennis Lessons

The Youth Tennis program offers 4 weeks of individualized tennis lessons for participants ages 5-18. Each lesson will be planned by the tennis coaches specifically for that individual to dive deeper into the skill and development of the tennis game.

Join in for a session filled with ALL GAMES, ALL THE TIME. Some games you can expect to be playing include King of the Court, GVS, Invaders, Touch the Fence, 21, Wipe Out, Four Square, Mini Tennis, and Pop-a-Squat. This session is recommended for moderate to advanced players who can confidently maintain a rally.
