Great River Ringers Holiday Concert

Great River Ringers, a community handbell ensemble, presents a mid-winter concert entitled The Power of Music. Music is a powerful force in our lives. It triggers emotions and memory; strengthens social connections; expresses identity; provides motivation and transcends the bounds of language. Feel the power of music through a variety of concert pieces that express loss, joy, peacefulness, triumph, and more. Refreshments served following the concert.

Join Cheri Schuyler, a retired music teacher and the music director for CheezLand Uke Band, for a three-part series of beginner ukulele lessons. You will learn basic chords and strumming, enough to get you going and enjoying your ukulele. Each class builds on the previous one, so it is best if you can make it to all three sessions, so you do not miss any of the fun. 
Note: Ukuleles are not provided. Please bring your own ukulele.
