The La Crosse Parks, Recreation & Forestry Department offers summer Adult Tennis and Pickleball lessons at area parks around the City of La Crosse. This program introduces the fundamentals with an emphasis on learning a variety of skills and positions.

Adult Pickleball League
September 9-October 23, 2025All Abilities Trane Park Pickleball Courts
Ages 18+
Registration Fee: $60; Registration Fee w/ Resident Discount: $40

Attention pickleball players! Join one of the new recreational or competitive pickleball leagues. Leagues will feature a ladder style format with league standings. Leagues will run for 6 weeks and conclude with a season ending tournament.
Move up or down the ladder playing similarly matched opponents. Players will be initially slotted based on their reported skill level. Leagues are six weeks in duration. Bring your own paddle, although there will be some to borrow if needed.
Recreational (2.0 to 3.0 Dupr Rating):
Tuesdays; 5:00pm *Optional 30-minute warm up starting at 4:30pm
This league is designed for people who are new to pickleball or people who are seeking a league where they can learn, meet people, and the focus is on having fun. Must have an understanding of basic rules (serving, scoring, positioning) and some court experience. Highly competitive play is prohibited.
Competitive (3.5+ Dupr Rating):
Thursdays; 5:00pm *Optional 30-minute warm up starting at 4:30pm
Faster pace with some hard hitting; players have a thorough knowledge of rules and the ability to execute a variety of shots.
