The City of La Crosse will be closed for business on Friday, July 3, 2026 in observance of Independence Day (Fourth of July). City Hall and other municipal offices will reopen at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, July 6, 2026.

Due to forecasted high temperatures, the City of La Crosse Refuse & Recycling Department will be closing the Yard Waste and Brush Site on Monday, June 29 and Tuesday, June 30, 2026.
As a reminder, this site will also be closed Saturday, July 4 and Sunday, July 5, 2026.
The site will be open for regular hours on Monday, July 6, 2026.
Normal hours of operation: Saturday & Sunday: 10 a.m.–4 p.m.Monday & Tuesday: 10 a.m.–6 p.m.Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday: Closed
