La Crosse Fire Department Responds to Residential Structure Fire

On August 6, 2026, just after 1 p.m., the La Crosse Fire Department responded to a structure fire in the 1400 block of Cass Street. Thanks to a quick 911 call and a rapid fire department response, the fire was contained to the exterior of the home, limiting damage to the covered rear porch and house siding. No injuries were reported, no one was displaced.
