The Northbound lanes of West Avenue will be closed at Market Street beginning Monday, July 27. A detour for Northbound traffic will be posted. Southbound traffic will be reduced to one lane from Division Street to Market Street beginning Monday, July 27.
The detour for northbound traffic will be as follows:
From West Ave, turn West onto Jackson St (STH 33), turn North onto 4th St (USH 61), turn East onto La Crosse St (STH 16) and continue Eastbound to West Ave and the end of the detour.
The purpose of the closure is to replace the existing sanitary sewer and watermain. A new storm sewer will also be installed as a part of this project.
