The Finance Department strives to provide timely and accurate financial information to the citizens, Council, and the employees of the City of La Crosse. The main objective is to minimize short and long-term costs of financial services by efficiently monitoring and managing City resources.
Accounting Services provides a variety of accounting and financial services for citizens and other City departments, including preparing and distributing the annual financial audit, operating budgets, capital budgets, and other financial reports. Services include providing accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, cash management, payroll, and special assessments.

Procurement is a division of the Finance Department that handles procurement for vehicles, equipment, and supplies. This division also handles incoming and outgoing mail and printing for the City of La Crosse.
