How to Pay
Make check or money order payable to City Treasurer. Please make sure your name is legible and write your citation number on the check or money order.
In Person
City Treasurer’s window in the City Hall lobby, located at 400 La Crosse Street. Bring slip with you. The Treasurer's Office accepts cash, check, money order, and credit/debit cards.

Please include a copy of your citation or write your citation number and name on a piece of paper.
Drop Box
A red drop box is located in the parking lot of City Hall. Put payment in envelope and include your name and/or citation number. You may include a request for your receipt to be mailed to you.

The Treasurer's Office takes online payments. Please follow the link below and select "Pay a Citation"

If You Are Unable to Pay
You must request an indigency hearing prior to the due date.
If You Fail To Pay
- Your Wisconsin driving privileges may be suspended for the maximum time allowed by State Statute and will remain suspended until you pay the fine in full and reinstate your privileges by paying the required reinstatement fee to the Motor Vehicle Department.
- A warrant/commitment may be issued for your arrest and incarceration into the County Jail.
- Your account may be submitted to the Tax Refund Intercept Program or State Debt Collection System.
If a warrant is issued or your license is suspended, personal checks are not accepted. Only cash, money order, cashier’s check or debit/credit card payment will be accepted.
