Update: Arrest made in Overnight Stabbing Published on May 18, 2026 On May 15, 2026, La Crosse Police were dispatched to the 1100 block of 16th Street South. Upon arrival, officers found a victim with multiple stab wounds. La Crosse Police identified Ivan Canchola-Garcia (02/07/1998) as a suspect in this case and determined this to be an isolated case. Canchola-Garcia was arrested in Whitestown Indiana on outstanding warrants from Dane County Wisconsin. Tagged as: , Police
La Crosse Police Investigate Overnight Stabbing Published on May 16, 2026 On May 15, 2026, at approximately 11:22 p.m., La Crosse Police were dispatched to assist First Responders in the 1100 block of 16th Street South. Upon arrival, officers found a victim with multiple stab wounds. The victim was transported to a local hospital and is receiving medical care for their injuries.
