Notice to all Route #4 Passengers

At the beginning of service on Friday June 05 to the end of service on Saturday June 06

MTU buses will not be going through U.W. La Crosse campus due to the State Track Meet being held there.

The following bus stops will be closed:

• La Crosse Street by Coate Hall
• La Crosse Street and 16^th Street North
• East Avenue by the Alumni Center
• East Avenue by Sanford Hall
• 2 stops at East Avenue and Pine Street
• 2 stops at Pine Street and Campbell Road
• Campbell Road and State Street
• State Street near Roncalli Newman Center
• State and 17^th Street N.
• 2 Stops on 17the Street North between State Street and Main Street

                                                                                                                                

Attention Route 2 Downtown riders

33rd Street between Meadow Lane Place and Park Lane Drive will be closed to bus traffic starting 5/21/26

Please use the bus stops at 33rd Street and either Meadow Lane Place, or 33rd and Park Lane drive during this time.

                                                           

Safe Ride Passengers

The “Safe ride” buses that run Thursday - Saturdays will end for the summer after Saturday, May 16

                                                                                                                              

Valley View Mall Extra Passengers

The extra half hour Route 5 Valley View Mall bus that runs on weekday evenings and weekends, will end for the summer after Saturday, May 16

                                                                                                                 

Attention Route 6 Riders

Bus stops are closed at Saint Paul and Liberty Street.

Either use stops at Saint Paul and Caledonia Street or Liberty and Windsor Street.

Attention Route 4 Losey Blvd and Route 1 South Avenue Passengers.

East Ave is closed between Losey Blvd and Birch St. The outbound bus stops on these corners are closed along with the bus stops by

Walgreens and the Car Wash. Both routes will use Mormon Coulee Rd to Birch St to get back on route.

Attention Route 8 Crossing Meadows Passengers 

Beginning April 9, 2026

The route through the Industrial park will have to be modified due to construction at River Valley Dr and Gillette St. 

The Crossing Meadows Portion of the route will now be last until the completion of the project.

The time point at Cunningham and Larson will change to :40 after the hour and the time point at Festival will be :45 after the hour
