Boat Landings

A concrete boat ramp leads into a wide river under a blue sky with scattered clouds. A floating dock is on the right side of the ramp.

The City of La Crosse maintains several public boat landings that provide convenient access to the Mississippi River, Black River, and surrounding waterways. These facilities are available for use through a daily permit or with a seasonal boat launch permit. Fees help support ongoing maintenance, improvements, and safe access for all users. Explore the information below to learn more about locations, passes, and landing guidelines.
