Part-Time Employment Opportunities

If you believe that participation in sports plays an integral role in the development of a child's character, confidence, and social skills this could be an excellent opportunity for you.  The hours are flexible (typically, evenings and weekends).  This is the perfect opportunity for teachers (or aspiring teachers), coaches, and college students with a sports background, or for anyone who would like to impact the lives of children and has a knowledge of sports.  We are currently looking for coaches for all seasons in this area. 

Fall Positions beginning in September:

• Youth Volleyball Coach
• Youth Flag Football Coach
• Youth Ice Skating Coach

Winter Positions beginning in November:

• Youth Basketball Coach
• Ice Rink Rentals Supervisor

Spring Positions beginning in March:

• Youth Track Coach
• Youth Soccer Coach

Summer Positions beginning in June:

• Youth Baseball Coach 
• Youth Tennis & Pickleball Coach 
• Youth Summer Camp Staff

Applications are accepted until positions are filled.

Outgoing individuals needed to join the Special Olympics Sports coaching team.  Coaches are required to attend practices two or three times a week as well as chaperone at all scrimmages and tournaments during the season.  No experience needed, but a general knowledge of the sport coaching is useful.  Experience working with individuals with special needs is preferred.  If interested, please submit an application by emailing questions or applications to Aimee.  Applications accepted until positions are filled.

• 5v5 Team Basketball, 3v3 Team Basketball, Skills Basketball, Swimming

Summer: Mid-April to Early June

• Track, Cornhole, Soccer*, Tennis*, Powerlifting*

Fall: Early July to Early September

• Bocce, Softball, Flag Football, Golf

• Bowling: Mid-September to Early December

Winter: Mid-December to mid-February 

• Downhill Skiing, Snowshoeing*

*sport dependent on interest

• Lifeguard
• Pool Attendant & Cashier
• Pettibone Rental Assistant
