Pettibone Equipment Rentals

Tentative 2026 Season Dates: May 22 to September 4, 2026

Rentals are typically available Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day weekend, from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. daily. Please note that schedule is subject to change depending on weather and river conditions. If you have questions about hours, please call our main office line at 608-789-7533.

Rental Information:

Credit cards now accepted!
The cost covers equipment for a two-hour rental and includes paddles and personal flotation devices.
Renter is responsible for lost, stolen or damaged equipment.
Renters must CARRY the equipment to their location, no equipment can be dragged across the concrete. The staff will NOT assist with carrying equipment so please come prepared.
All renters are required to complete a waiver before using the rental equipment.

Fishing Docks and Piers

The City of La Crosse owns and maintains 5 public fishing piers throughout the city. These fishing piers are designed to be ADA accessible while river levels are stable.
