Arboretum & Community Orchards
Myrick Park Arboretum
Located in the heart of La Crosse, the Myrick Park Arboretum is a welcoming destination for nature lovers, families, and environmental enthusiasts. Featuring a diverse collection of trees and shrubs, it highlights the region’s rich biodiversity. Established in 1996 with help from the Hill & Valley Garden Club, the arboretum's tree walk has grown into a thriving collection and was officially accredited as a Level 1 Arboretum in 2024.

Visitors can explore scenic trails, enjoy views of the marsh and bluffs, and take part in educational opportunities like wildlife observation and forestry practices. The arboretum also hosts community events, demonstrations, and celebrations—offering a peaceful space to learn, walk, and relax.
