With more than 70 miles of paved and natural surface trails, La Crosse Parks offers many ways to get outside and stay active. Trails run through parks, neighborhoods, bluffs, and wetlands. To ensure an enjoyable trail experience for all, please consider these trail etiquette guidelines: 

  • Travel on open trails only. 
  • Do not trespass on private land
  • Follow marked trails and signage
  • Be coureous and listen for others
  • Yield to uphill traffic
  • Travel at a safe and reasonable speed 
  • Keep pets on leash
  • Leave no trace
