The City of La Crosse Parks, Recreation & Forestry Department is proud to offer two Neighborhood Centers, the South Side Neighborhood Center and the Black River Beach Neighborhood Center. Both facilities have rooms available to rent for anything from family gatherings and parties or business meetings and trainings. There are also many softball/baseball fields, tennis courts, and pickleball courts located throughout the City.

Black River Beach Neighborhood Center

Located on La Crosse’s north side with beautiful views of the Black River and the beach just a few steps away, this facility is a true treasure. The facility has a number of rooms that can be reserved for parties, gatherings or business meetings.

South Side Neighborhood Center

The facility is available for rentals designed to accommodate different group sizes and functions. Guests can enjoy our Little Free Library, as well as board games and puzzles.

Green Island Ice Arena

There are a range of activities to participate in at the Green Island Ice Arena including the following: Open Skate, Figure Skating Club, Youth Hockey, and Coulee Region Sled Hockey.
