Home of our Adult Softball League and other Youth Baseball/Softball Tournaments!
Carroll Field is the City of La Crosse’s softball complex, located at 1717 Marco Drive. It was named for Robert “Kootch” Carroll, a baseball player and coach who, in 1969, founded the Stars of Tomorrow baseball tournament. He was a tireless supporter of youth baseball.
The first ball diamond at Carroll Field was constructed in 1970 on City owned land, and was the third lighted field in the City. Between 2017-2021 the second and third ball diamonds at this site were completed, and paved parking was added, making this a great venue for ball tournaments as well as local recreation.
NEW this year! The Carroll Ball Fields Concession Stand serves players, families, and fans with a variety of candy, snacks, beverages, and more to enjoy during games and league play. Stop by to grab a quick refreshment and enhance your experience at the ball fields.
Hours of Operation May – October: Open during games and league play.
