Chad Erickson Memorial Park

A wooden arched bridge spans a calm body of water, reflecting the lush green trees and blue sky on the opposite bank.

Fishing Pond and Walking Bridge to trail access!

Chad Erickson Memorial Park was created as a tribute to Chad Erickson, a young outdoor enthusiast and skilled fisherman who died in 1995 at age 15. The park also contains a favorite place of Chad’s, the Vietnam Veterans Pond. The pond, which has been dredged, aerated and stocked with fish, has wheelchair accessible platforms for fishing. The 22.5 acre park and playground are also wheelchair accessible. The redevelopment of the park has been a community project and is intended to provide pleasure and discovery for everyone. It is a place for remembrance and celebration.
