The City of La Crosse will be closed for business on Monday, September 7, 2026 in observance of Labor Day. City Hall and other municipal offices will reopen at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, September 8, 2026.

The La Crosse Parks, Recreation & Forestry Department provides a variety of Adult Softball Leagues for men and women of all ability levels. Over 100 teams from the La Crosse area play in various leagues May through August and more than 2,000 games per season are scheduled for play.
