Player Code of Conduct

  1. I will play by the rules of the game and accept the decisions of the officials without argument, confrontation, or continued dissent. Officials’ decisions are final.
  2. I will conduct myself in a respectful and sportsmanlike manner at all times and will be accountable for my actions toward teammates, opponents, officials, and recreation staff.
  3. I will participate in a competitive but respectful manner and will not engage in behavior that detracts from the enjoyment, safety, or integrity of the game for others.
  4. I will demonstrate fair play and good sportsmanship at all times. Profanity, taunting, threatening language, or abusive behavior directed toward officials, opponents, teammates, or recreation staff will not be tolerated. Profanity directed at officials may result in immediate ejection.
  5. I will maintain control of my emotions and behavior. Physical contact outside the normal scope of play—including fighting, pushing, shoving, or threatening gestures—will result in immediate ejection and may lead to suspension or expulsion from the program.
  6. I understand that alcohol and illegal substances are prohibited during league play. Any player suspected of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs may be removed from the game and subject to further disciplinary action.
  7. I will respect the authority of game officials and recreation staff, who have the authority to issue warnings, assess penalties, eject players, and recommend suspensions or expulsions for violations of this Code of Conduct.
  8. As an adult participant, I understand that I am responsible for my behavior before, during, and after games, including interactions on the field, sidelines, and surrounding park areas.
  9. I will uphold the principles of good sportsmanship and understand that repeated or severe violations of this Code may result in disciplinary action against me and/or my team.

I understand that failure to comply with this Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary action, including warnings, ejection from a game, suspension, or permanent dismissal from future Parks & Recreation programs.
