The City of La Crosse is proud to offer programs and activities for all ages! We have year-round programs for Youth, Adults, Seniors, and Special Recreation.

Summer Camps

These programs promote and emphasize the importance of having fun in leisure and educational programs for all ages.

Youth Sports

Features a variety of youth sports programs throughout the year for boys and girls. Our youth sports program encourages an active lifestyle, promotes teamwork, and is about having fun!

Pools & Splash Pads

Take a splash at the two municipal swimming pools between June and August.

Adult Sports

The La Crosse Parks, Recreation & Forestry Department offers various adult sports leagues, open gyms and program instruction.

Adult & Senior Enrichment Programs

Programming for all ages and abilities that include creative, enrichment, and fitness.

Senior Excursions

Senior Excursions are popular day trips for anyone ages 50+.

Special Olympics & Special Recreation

A variety of leisure, educational, and recreational programs for individuals with special needs in our community.

Youth Enrichment Association (Y.E.A.) - Youth Scholarship Program

This program is for low-income families residing in the City of La Crosse with children under 17 years old. Applicants must meet certain income limits. To apply, please fill out an application here.

Families of Deployed Troops Enjoy Free Recreation

Since the summer of 2010, the City of La Crosse Parks and Recreation Department and Operation Homefront have opted to offer families of deployed troops in the region free admission to programs. This partnership will include such programs as youth sports, fitness and swim lessons. Excludes: Forest Hills Golf Course, facility reservations and pool memberships/passes.
